| The annual science festival is held around the same time as the Ice Worm Festival each year in Cordova. Students at the local Jr. and Sr. High School are invited to participate in this as an opportunity to gain experience with traditional science fairs, to outreach special scientific information they are learning, and to interact with local professional scientists. The Imaginarium often brings their Star Lab and other interactive exhibits. | |
| The Youth Environmental Leadership Program (YELP) has been an annual or bi-annual event since 2004. High School aged students are invited to learn about the environment and specific issues affecting our local area while gaining the skills and experience necessary to be an active leader in their community. |
